About the Founders

 Dr. Barbara Nwaehi is an accomplished leadership strategist, executive coach, and organizational development expert with extensive experience spanning higher education, nonprofits, and global consulting. 

As Founder and CEO of Vizyon Consulting Inc., Barbara partners with executives, boards, and organizations to deliver customized solutions in strategic planning, executive coaching, DISC assessments, and board development. Her work integrates research-based frameworks with practical application, helping leaders and teams turn vision into reality.

Barbara holds a doctorate in Strategic Leadership and Global Consulting, and her thought leadership extends across multiple professional associations. She is the Vice President of Programs for the Georgia Association of Industrial-Organizational Psychologists (GAIOP), a board member of United Way’s African American Partnership, and an advisory board member for Women in Leadership at the University of Tennessee.

Passionate about empowering the next generation, Barbara also leads Vizyon for Girls, a mentorship initiative connecting young girls with tiered mentor networks in the U.S. and Ghana. Her career reflects a commitment to advancing leadership capacity, building sustainable systems, and creating community impact

 Ramona Pierre is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Vizyon for Girls, where she leads with a deep commitment to empowering young women to see their potential, embrace their strengths, and step boldly into their futures. With more than 20 years of experience in social services, program development, and organizational leadership, Ramona has designed and led initiatives that inspire growth, build confidence, and open doors to opportunity for children, families, and communities.
In her role at VFG, Ramona combines her expertise in mentoring, program design, and strategic planning to shape the organization’s vision and create impactful experiences for girls. She is dedicated to building strong, supportive frameworks that foster leadership, resilience, and a sense of purpose in every participant.
Her passion for this work comes from a core belief: when girls are supported, encouraged, and given the right tools, they become unstoppable forces for change—both in their own lives and in the world around them. Whether engaging with stakeholders, parents, funders, or youth, Ramona’s mission remains the same—to help every girl dream bigger, achieve more, and lead with confidence.
